This Sunday is the 2nd annual Together CC Car Show at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena. Last year was a very memorable show! The area set aside for the car show filled up quickly and the show was packed all day. Together brought out alot of clubs that do not show very much during show season and had plenty of entries from out of town. This year the inside of the area will be used to hold 10 -12 cars that were selected by their respective clubs to represent the club in the arena. So one car from each of the pre-registered clubs will be in the arena. I will again be covering the show for Lowrider Magazine and Stephanie will be along as my 2nd shooter. Don’t miss this one!

Supplier lawsuits
and General Motors' own weak financial position threatened to delay the
introduction of the 2010 Camaro despite the 14,000 pre-orders, but the
car's production was launched last week without a hitch. Today,
however, word is emerging that the Z28 and Convertible versions are not
going to materialize any time soon.
Previous reports on the Camaro Z28
- an even higher-performance spec than the SS - indicated that even
though design and development was complete, the car might not be built
due to cost issues with such a low-volume variant. Now it seems the
word inside GM is that the car is canceled - at least for the present,
reports The Detroit Bureau.

In January Corvette put a price to its new Competition Sport appearance package
designed to appeal to hardcore Corvette racing fans. Now another
similar package called the GT-1 Championship Edition - paying homage to
the racers of the ALMS GT-1 class - is on offer, and the full photos
show just how much a difference an appearance package can make.
The key elements of the GT-1 Edition Corvette package are a ZR1-style
full-width rear spoiler, forged chrome wheels, a yellow and black color
scheme (black with yellow racing stripe or vice-versa), unique
race-inspired graphics including the driver's name on the roof, the
'Jake' racing mascot, and blacked-out headlights. Body colored
door-handles, carbon-fiber-esque engine covers and other small accents
complete the C6.R-look.

One of the highlights
of last year?s SEMA Auto Show was the seriously upgraded Super
Challenger modified by legendary Dodge dealer and tuner Mr. Norm. The
outfit?s latest addition to its long-running ?Super? line of cars is
based around the new Dodge Challenger, more specifically the
high-performance SRT8 model, and now it and its sibling the Super Cuda
have entered production at Mr. Norm's facilities in Hudson, Florida.
The Super Challenger takes its inspiration from the original 1971 Mr.
Norm?s Super Challenger Super Fuel Funny Car. The show car featured a
black paint scheme with red stripes and ?Mr. Norm? labeling on the
front fenders, but the one shown here is white with black accents.
Inside, the Super Challenger gets custom Katzkin leather trim, a Hurst
pistol grip shifter, and special door sills.

The production version of the Rolls-Royce 200EX concept
unveiled at this month’s Geneva Motor Show is still a year away from
hitting showrooms but already there's word of a number of models - not
just a sedan - based on the concept in the pipeline. These include new
Coupe and Convertible versions of the upcoming ‘baby’ Rolls-Royce, both
of which are expected to arrive in 2011.
While a final name is yet to be confirmed by Rolls-Royce, many
enthusiasts are predicting that the car will take on the 'Silver Ghost'
nameplate that was first used over a century ago by luxury marque.
